2. Venue Information & Player Amenities
Diss Games is a premium venue committed to providing a great tournament experience.
- Accessibility: The venue has disabled access.
- Parking: Ample free parking is available.
- Travel: The venue is within walking distance of the train station.
- Food & Drink:Table service snacks and drinks are available for purchase via our Discord.
- Note: While you are welcome to bring your own lunch, we kindly ask that all drinks and snacks be purchased from the shop to support the venue.
- Reserve Models: A selection of reserve models is available should any crucial models be forgotten.
Loaner Armies (Real Challenge Option)
No army or want a real challenge? We can provide you with a 2,000-point army for free for tournament use. Please message the TO on 07974 075241 to arrange this. Loaner models are for tournament usage only and are not for the player to keep, loaner armies cannot be guaranteed if not requested far enough in advance.
3. Army & Hobby Requirements
Army Size & Composition
- Total Points: 2,000 points.

Army Selection Rules
- Army composition will be following the Grand Melee and Combined Arms rules from the Matched Play Guide
List Submission
- Deadline: Lists must be submitted by 11pm 16/11/25.
- Format: Lists must be submitted on BCP. They must clearly show unit names, points costs, upgrades, and magical items.
Modelling & Proxies
- “What You See Is What You Get” (WYSIWYG): Models must accurately represent the unit they are being played as. All upgrades, magical items, and non-cosmetic options (e.g., great weapons, shields, standard bearers) must be clearly modelled on the unit unless agreed with the TO before the game and your opponent informed before the games starts.
- Painting Requirement: All models must be painted to a basic standard (3 colours minimum and paint on the base at a minimum). Models not meeting this standard may be removed from play at the TO’s discretion.
- Non-Standard Armies & Proxies: Any non-standard armies or proxies should be checked with the TO before tickets are purchased. This ensures fairness and compliance for all participants.

End of Game Procedure
When the last 30minutes is called, complete the current game phase, but no new turn may begin. Players must stop play immediately when the round timer ends.
5. Missions & Rules
Missions & Scenarios
- All missions, deployment, and scoring rounds will follow this list:
- Round 1: Upon the Field of Glory / Secondary Objective: Baggage Trains
- Round 2: Drawn Battlelines / Secondary Objective: Strategic Locations (3) (For each objective marker a player controls at the end of each player’s turn, they win a bonus of 15 Victory Points.)
- Round 3: Close Quarters / Secondary Objective: Domination (For each quarter of the battlefield a player controls, they win a bonus of 100 VP. There are no additional VP to this.)
Scoring System
- The event will be scored on BCP using a 20-0 scoring system, followed by Victory Points, as detailed in the Matched Play Guide, as a tiebreaker.
- All games will be using the Domination Secondary objective from the Matched Play Guide
- For anyone who is unfamiliar with the 20-0 scoring system, compare the Victory Points you and your opponent scored in the game (including any potentially available through missions) and consult the table below:

- Please Note: When entering your scores on BCP you will need to enter both the TP score (called battle points on BCP) and the VP score (called points destroyed). BCP is not set up to calculate the TPs for you!
6. Prizes & Awards
Prizes will be based on the total number of attendees. Expected awards include:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place (Overall Tournament Placing)
- Best Painted (Voted on by the players and also the store staff)
- Most Sporting (Voted on by Opponents)
- Wooden Spoon (Last Place)
7. Refund Policy
- Refunds are available up to one month before the event date. After this time, tickets are non-refundable.
