How to Buy (For “How to sell” scroll down)
First register for an account. When you do it will ask you to set up your shop. You can just hit “Skip” if you do not want to sell right now (don’t worry you can come back to this later if you change your mind). You can then either search directly for the product you want using the search bar OR you can use the menu provided and go to your game system, army etc and see what is available.

As you get to products you will see some key information. It will show a picture (likely the stock picture) along with the unit/model name. These may not be unique to one seller. For example if you search for Leman Russ you may find there will be multiple products titled “Leman Russ” these have all been linked as the same product. It will make sense shortly.
Under the title is a short description that the seller has put to describe the condition of their product, the price, the sellers shop name and an add to basket button. If you hover your mouse over the product picture, you should also get a condition picture, this means, if for example this is new on spru, it should show the spru, bases etc so that you can see exactly what you will receive.

Unbuilt models will be displayed with the standard stock image showing you what the built model will look like. Please make sure to check the product description to see what the seller has described. For example if the seller has “New, on spru” What you will receive is just the spru and bases for the models. You are unlikely to receive instructions on how to put the models together in this situation.
On the product page itself you may see a button “more Vendors” or “more Offers” if you click these you will see if this same seller has more of this item in different conditions and also other sellers who have the same item for sale. PLEASE remember, these will all be different conditions. You should always click the link to see each one before you add it to your basket

The checkout process is fairly standard. You can pay by Paypal or credit/debit card, but we also offer bank transfer as a way to reduce fee’s. If you pay in this way we give you an additional 2% in credit (Details here). Don’t worry, it is completely safe as the funds come to us, not the seller. The funds will not be released to the seller until 2 weeks after the purchase, or after positive feedback is received. Therefore if you do experience any issues please contact us before the 2 weeks so that we can intervene.
How to Sell on Warbay
Selling could not be easier. When you register for an account, you will be prompted to add personal details for your shop. You can add as much or as little as you like at this stage. Once your shop is set up (takes 1-2 minutes) you can then click “add a product”.

You now have 2 choices. Is your item a standard GW product? (i.e is it a particular model?) or is this something of your own creating (i.e custom terrain, marker etc). If it is something from the GW catalogue then just type in the name of the unit in the search bar.

Find the model like yours and click “Sell mine”,

If it doesn’t already exist on the website then click “Create a new product”

If you are building from an existing listing then see below, if not then please read this step to understand what you need to add.
You will now be faced with the below screen. Notice that the product title is greyed out. Please do not change this. If there is an error please contact warbay support. This title will keep all of these products connected together. The “product short description” is you condition details. This will already be populated but should be changed to reflect your product condition if it is not the same. Examples could be “New in Box” or “Models on spru, includes instructions and bases” or “Models assembled and painted to a table top standard”. Now the image. If your product is new and unassembled, please make sure to use the stock image showing the products made and painted so that buyers can see what the product is. You can add a picture of the spru/what is being sent in the “product gallery” below the main image. If your product has been painted or assembled, please click on the main image (a cross will appear when you hover over it) and upload your picture. If you would like to add a more detailed description, you are welcome to do this in the main “Product Description” box.

If you are building the listing from scratch then you will see that the title is important. This either needs to be very specific if it is a unique product for you, for example “Pack of 20 amethyst D6 Dice with printed white numbers” because the more generic you make it, the more likely the product will get mixed with others. HOWEVER, please do not include your own brand name in the product title. For example, if someone is already selling a “pack of 20 amethyst D6 Dice with printed white numbers” then you can add your listing to this one, including your picture to make it clear what yours look like. This way customers can see and compare the 2 easily. However if you simply list a title with “20 Dice” it will be far too generic and have many very different products connected.
Very important steps
Next you need to add the price, fairly simply, just put this in “Regular price”

Then you need to click “inventory”. If you are selling an item that you have unlimited stock of, then you can ignore this step. If not then you should click “Manage Stock” and add the number of items that you have to sell. Remember this is how many lots. So if this is for your whole army then you put 1 here and NOT how many models are in the set. If you are a shop that uses SKU’s then this can also be added here.

The final step… Hit publish at the top of the screen. It really is that simple and easy!
